Each contribution has been integral in advancing our mission at STNS. The Taaras network, comprising 62 community-based organizations across five states, has been a cornerstone of this work, and we are proud to be one of these CBOs.

Our heartfelt thanks go to Saathii for their invaluable public relations support, which played a crucial role in securing the GFATM grant and enabling us to expand our programs, reaching more individuals in need. We also extend our deep appreciation to the Positive Network in Salem for their dedicated efforts in providing essential nutrition kits to PLHIV members, making a meaningful difference in their lives.

We are especially grateful for the collaboration with various government departments, including DAPCU, TI, DLSA, the Commissioner’s office, CWC, and DSW, whose steadfast support has streamlined our initiatives and strengthened our outreach efforts. A special mention goes to Dr. Jeyaganesh, our project specialist for the GFATM KP Grant, for his expert guidance, as well as Hareesh from the National Taaras Secretariat for their advocacy and leadership.

We also want to recognize the invaluable contributions of Mr. Ratnagiri, Program Advocacy Officer for the GFATM SP Grant and TN Taaras Secretariat, as well as our POs for the GFATM KP Grant, Ms. Priya Babu and Mr. Mohan Kumar. A special acknowledgment is due to our DPM, Mr. Arunachalam, and the DSW representative Ms. Karthiga, along with the DLSA team, for their relentless efforts in ensuring the smooth and effective execution of our programs.

We are truly grateful for this collective partnership, which has been instrumental in empowering and supporting the communities we serve.

Dear Supporters and Stakeholders,

As we reflect on the past year, we take pride in the progress we’ve made, despite the challenges we have encountered. With the guidance of our dedicated board, we have made significant strides in advancing our mission and deepening the support we provide to our community. One of the key milestones this year was the successful implementation of the GFATM/C19/RM grant, focusing on key populations, made possible through our invaluable partnerships with the Taaras network, Saathii as the Principal Recipient, and SMS as the Sub-Recipient. These projects represent significant achievements in our efforts to advocate for and uplift those who depend on our support. Our regular board meetings and review sessions have been pivotal in ensuring that we remain responsive to the evolving needs of our community members. Through collaboration with second-line leaders and partner NGOs, we’ve strengthened our collective impact. Our structured processes, including board elections and annual meetings, ensure transparency and accountability in all aspects of our governance.I would like to extend my heartfelt gratitude to all of our supporters and stakeholders. Your trust and dedication have been instrumental in our success. Together, we can continue to explore innovative solutions and secure the necessary resources to expand our initiatives, addressing the most pressing needs of our community.Looking ahead, we remain focused on our mission and the many opportunities to further empower those we serve. Thank you for standing with us as we work towards building a brighter future for all.

Warm regards,
Pooja
