The formation of RDMM marked a turning point for the WSW community in Warangal. The organization’s core focus has been on reducing violence against women in sex work,addressing their vulnerabilities to health risks, especially HIV, and combating the stigma that surrounds their work. By creating acollective, RDMM sought to empower women insex work to advocate for their own rights, demand better access to healthcare, and challenge the systems of discrimination and abuse they face daily.Overtime, RDMM has grown into a community- based organization that not only works to reduce the stigma and violence surrounding sex work but also promotes alternative livelihoods, social protection,andlegal support for its members. The organization remains dedicated to improving the quality of life for WSWs by fighting for their access to social services, justice, healthcare, and financial security.
